One 20th century real estate agent was having a hard time selling the beautiful Rosseum mansion. That is because all the buyers during their trial stay claimed, “It is haunted!”
The obvious thing to do was to demolish the structure. But the architecture of this mansion was so awe inspiring and unique that nobody wanted to change it even a bit.
People claimed that they witnessed the spirit of Donald Ross, the owner and architect of Rosseum, wandering around in this house.
The thing these people don’t know is that this creation surpassed the creator. When Mr. Ross himself came to stay in this house, he too saw a spirit version of himself, that drove him to commit suicide.
Eventually a woman called ‘The Ghost Catcher’ was brought in to investigate. She was good at busting these kinds of myths. She stayed there for a night. By the end of her stay, she too was on the verge of going crazy. Still she was convinced that it is not a ghost. The argument she made was this…
“Consider this perfectly designed mansion to be a wind chime. When wind blows a melody is heard but that does not mean someone is playing it. Just like that, the mansion itself creates the illusion of a spirit and there is nothing we can do to stop it.”
That was the last time someone dared to live in this mansion. Eventually, after many centuries of its idle existence, the structure collapsed on itself ending the story of ‘Haunted House Rosseum’.
