WORMIFRU FERTILIZER

Wormifru is a bio enzyme. It’s a path breaking simple organic insecticide & fertilizer. It was originally invented by a 20th century farmer of Kunj state named Pank Parvahi. Although he is the inventor neither he nor his family owns the patent for this formula. That belongs to a 21st century fertilizer manufacturing company of the same state.

When Pank invented this he kept this secret to himself and passed on to his son when the right time came. This formula was passed on from generation to generation until the CEO and founder of Agripruce Co. figured it out after her several visits to Pak Parvahi. It’s a restaurant that was built on a part of the farm land. She then created it herself and unbeknownst to the Parvahi family registered for a patent.

When they realized that this company was using their formula to extract money from poor uneducated farmers, they decided to make the formula public, rendering her evil schemes useless.

NAME

Wormifru
It’s just the first thought that came out of her mind while naming it. There is no more significance to that name.

APPEARANCE

A large part of it is water hence it is a thin translucent liquid. The final colour of it appears blue (but may vary based on the kind of fruit waste added to it).

PROCESS

Making this liquid is very easy. It contains only three ingredients mixed in ratios of:

  1. One part jaggery powder
  2. Three parts fruit waste
  3. Ten parts water

All the three ingredients (as in the ratio mentioned above) are added to a drum and thoroughly mixed. This mixture is then kept away from sun. When kept still, trillions of good bacteria form in the mixture which help breakdown the mixture into enzyme.

Once this formula is ready (i.e. in three months) it can be sprayed on crops to naturally repel insects without any additional chemical. Further it adds to the fertility of soil by encouraging growth of earthworm. Hence vermi compost gets naturally prepared.

ORIGIN STORY

Pank Parvahi was a poor man who out of pitty was given a small piece land to do farming and earn his living. Since he didn’t have a lot of money he decided to plant fruit trees in addition farming crops that require less irrigation. The trees that he planted was of Wrifle (an orange-like fruit but blue).

The land of his region was not very favorable for crop farming, hence there was excessive demand for chemical fertilizers. But since Pank didn’t have that kind of money he experimented with anything and everything to be used as fertilizers, including the fruit waste generated from the peals of Wrifle fruit. He did this again and again until he found the right combination that enabled his farm to generate large produce. Thus creating this nameless chemical.
