Raghvan Kai is the most larger than life person there is during his time. He has a very intimidating personality. He considers his self-interest to be above everyone else’s. One example for that being he killed his own father to take control of the throne. While the people of other kingdoms consider him to be a ruthless king, Raghvan’s people have accepted the life of slavery and poverty as a part of their life. They do not revolt.

He was a man of sciences who pushed his people to develop a scientific mentality. As a matter of fact he discriminated between people based on how scientifically aware they are.

Little Raghvan was one of the first of the Yuvian species to see an atom with the advanced technology of his time. When Raghvan realized that the living beings are no different that the non-living objects, he realized that there is nothing wrong in exploiting them as we exploit all the non-living resources of the kingdom.

Raghvan might have pushed the limits of their scientific knowledge but he lacked the wisdom to use it justly or rather to not use what he shouldn’t.

He is fond of gold, not because it shines but because it is the best conductor of electricity.

These are the pre common era times when people didn’t live a standard duration of life. More popular the people longer they lived. Raghvan had lifespan of over thousand years, unfortunately it was cut short when he was killed by one of the avatars of God.

All the rulers of those times were the most powerful beings of the kingdom. Thinking about the welfare of its people was optional. Hence, Raghvan used this as an opportunity to exploit his people while convincing them that it is for their own good.

HOBBIES

Praying to Narak
Usually praying is what one needs to do rather than what one wants to do. But Raghvan did it to satisfy his want. ‘Narak – the god of science’ is the god of his creation. Narak’s temple was a science lab. He prayed there daily as a way to understand the sciences. The chants that he repeated were the scientific theories, principles and formulae they created.

It’s her passion for science what Raghvan inherited. Although he never actually got time to spend with his mother he feels that night is the time when she listens to him. She is after all know as the goddess of night in the Kai kingdom. That’s the reason why Raghvan is the most honest in the night time.

TIMELINE

Raghvan was born as a dead baby. While all the people gave up hope, the king along with his team of scientists worked day and night for the whole week to bring him back to life. Eventually, somehow, they succeeded.

Prince Raghvan along with the king was called late in the night by kingdom’s science division to show them an actual atom.

PRE 11/12/5932
Raghvan killed his father and took control of the throne. The killing was over the ethical considerations of invention of nuclear weapons.

Raghvan fell in love with a simple woman wandering in the forest. A woman by the name Tashmaini Rosi. Being a man of sciences Raghvan never let his emotions or desires cloud his judgement but this time it did.

This was important narratively speaking. Raghvan was growing his knowledge at a very alarming rate. This way he would have destroyed the entire Akari system. This romantic attraction is what distracted him from his drive to acquire absolute knowledge.

Raghvan abducted this woman and took her to his kingdom as her slave. It is this action that laid the seeds of his eventual downfall.
