LOVE COMPATIBILITY QUESTIONNAIRE

created by Sameer Raote

L.C.Q. is a Soul Connect created compatibility test that couples take to see how well matched they are with their partner. The goal is to better understand their role in a relationship and strengthen their bond accordingly.

The process of this test is very simple. There is a list of questions couples have to answer. Both partners have to have separate answers but the answers are to be derived together after discussion. They have to be honest with each other for most accurate results. To be able to give better answers do the following,

Imagine a scenario where you two are stranded on an isolated island with no way out and other person in sight. Keeping that in mind answer the following questions in terms of 1 (strongly disagree) to 5 (strongly agree):

NOTE: Ideally this questionnaire would be a website or an application where you have to enter your answer and it will calculate your compatibility and give out the final result. Since that’s not the case yet, here is a complete breakdown of this compatibility method so that you can self evaluate.

NOTYPEQUESTIONS
1How old are you?
I’m not asking about your physical age but your emotional maturity. It’s not about comparing this quality with your partner and to see if you match. It’s more about accepting the fact of who they are at the current stage of life. That’s because it is subject to change with age.
2IHow much do you think before talking with your partner?
The answer to this, from both participants, ideally has to be one i.e. you don’t have to think at all. That’s because ideally your partner is like the extended part of your brain. Just how you cannot hide any information you know from your brain, you shouldn’t withhold that information from your partner.
3OHow good is your sense of vision?
That is what is your level of obsession when it comes to keep things neatly and in order. If one has the habit of keeping things in order and the other does not then this can lead to friction. It’s best if both are on the same level of orderliness. That is attention to detail.
NOTE: This and the following three are a subset of a same question to identify how strongly your senses affect your emotional state. The reason to have them as separate questions is because different people have different strengths.
4OHow good is your sense of hearing?
This means just rate yourself based on how good is your ear when it comes to sounds and music. Type of music is not important because that choice is usually made by based on your mood or mindset at any point of time.
5OHow good is your sense of taste?
This is to see how particular you are about what you eat. Do you eat just to fill your body with nutrients or is there a specific taste that you look for while eating.
6OHow good is your sense of smell?
This is to see the level at which the smells bother you. For some the right odor plays a key role when defining their environment and lifestyle.
7OHow likely are you to initiate and sustain a conversation?
Conversations are a very important part of a relationship. It is okay if neither of you talks a lot so long as you understand each other but it is vital for you to match your partner’s wavelength.
8XHow likely are you to be very emotional?
Being very emotional, sensitive to every event leads to instability hence the other partner has to play the role of a rock to balance the other person.
9XHow likely are you to take charge of any situation?
Think of any situation or any problem that you had to face as a couple and then decided who was the first to take charged? Did the other person assist or was there conflict of leadership? It’s best if couples chose their roles willingly in every situation.
10XHow impressionable are you?
Think about how easy do you get convinced by your partner to do things their way. It’s not just doing their way but being comfortable with that.
11XHow likely are you to admit your mistake when pointed out?
It’s similar to how impressionable you are but this is more difficult because admitting your mistake and working to fix it requires a lot of courage.
12XHow much active are you when in idle state?
Being a naturally active or a passive person at any time is a flaw which needs to be balanced by a partner who is the exact opposite.
13XAre you inclined towards right brain or left brain?
A couple is supposed to balance each other to complete each other by combining the analytical with the creative.
14OHow quick are you to adapt to change?
Technologically speaking, for example, both the partners are supposed to be on the same page and equally updated with modern tech and trends.
15XOn a fight or flight scale where do you stand?
While one partner is hot headed enough to fight other has to be the cool head so that together they have the wisdom to understand what to do in which scenario.
16XHow optimistic are you towards your life?
It’s a simple understanding that when the believers (optimistic) pair with the realists (pessimistic) they can achieve anything in life.
17XHow much do you dwell on the past?
Basically there are three kinds of people; those who obsess over their past, those who constantly think about their future and ideal are the third kind who live in the moment. To attain this ideal form as a couple, partners must balance each other.
18XHow social are you?
Both partners sharing the same form is problematic. Like if both are social they will either compete in a group for attention or be a part of two different group and hence move apart. Instead if one of them is less social, that person will cling to its partner ensuring that their connection stays strong.
19XWhat’s the level of your empathy?
How well do you know your partner is an important question because quite often a person loves the image of their partner, i.e. loving them for who they think their partner is and not the actual person. This makes accepting the reality very difficult.
20OHow strong are you when it comes to expression of love?
How many times a day you tell your partner that you love them in comparison to your partner. High or low matching each other’s rhythm is vital.
ANALYZING THE RESULT

Primarily there are two kinds of questions ‘X’ and ‘O’ differentiating between your flaws and personalities respectively:

X = These are qualities associated with your mental state irrespective of your physical form. An ideal soul isn’t supposed to exhibit any of those qualities which is why they are referred to as flaws. In a perfect couple these flaws are supposed to compliment each other. So for any questions of this type if your partner gets a ‘1’ you should ideally get a ‘5’. ( ‘2’ for ‘4’ and ‘3’ for ‘3’).

O = These are qualities associated with your physical form. These are known as traits. In a perfect couple the traits are suppose to match. So for any questions of this type if your partner gets a ‘1’ you should ideally get a ‘1’. (‘2’ for ‘2’, ‘3’ for ‘3’ and so on).

Any deviation from these values is subject to introspection.

PERFECT COUPLE

A perfect couple is one that completes each other. They compliment each other’s flaws nullifying them. Primary flaws being the range of emotions. Together they have the potential to be a God level being. They share the interests they develop in mortal life. This includes their sensory and motor functions.

Having said that no couple should aim for being a Perfect couple. That’s because perfect couple will be like a machine or a god. They will certain bring end to their world. The target range is between 60 – 80%. Anything above that amplifies both good and bad qualities. So even slightest argument can break the relationship.

NOTE: In previous versions of L.C.Q. there was a miss-understanding that higher the percentage the better but in later studies it was found out that that is not the case.

EXPLANATION

It is believed that prior to the creation of the mortal universe the only thing of us that existed was our soul. Ever existing for eternity. Then a very important process called the soul separation happened. It’s a process where each perfect soul was divided into two imperfect halves.

This led to the formation of genders where each soul comprises of a male and female (please don’t confused this with physical genders). This way one soul was able to live two different lives worlds apart. This is what made us imperfect and allowed us to define our own personalities. With experience and passing time the nature of our soul took a complex shape.

Due to this incomplete form of our soul we mortals are constantly in pursuit of completeness. We look for partners that are a perfect match. We look for our soulmate.

The way to find that perfect match is to first understand who you are and then look for person who is compatible with you. The more complex your soul is the more difficult it is to find a perfect or nearly perfect match. This is where this questionnaire comes to rescue.

Just honestly answer all the questions and see if your partner is a match for you.

POINTERS
  • This is not match making. It’s a compatibility test.
Hence do not carry out this test where you put your values and the values you think your crush has in their mind and see if you are a match. You have to be in a relationship to carry out this test.
  • There is no wrong answer here so just answer the questions honestly.
  • This test is not applicable for married people.
The claw of married people was added after a couple filed for divorce on grounds that they are not compatible with each other based on our test. Anyways technically when a couple gets married the family and society comes into picture hence this test becomes inapplicable.
  • Your answers are subject to vary when you are coupled with different people.
This is what reinforces the idea they you should take test as a couple and not as solo individual.
  • It’s suggested for people to do that test only when they are just two of them and not in a social group or in a public place.

Finally, I want to admit that this is an imperfect test. Our goal is to grow our understanding of ‘soul’ so that we reach a point where technology is capable of accurately mapping once’s soul allowing them to better understand themselves and be capable of finding a near perfect match like in the story Searching for Her Soulmate.
