Dharma is a millennium long war event that happened on Yugae planet in the 5th pre-millennium of Yuvian calendar.
The war was fought on a global level with beings so powerful that the future civilizations regarded them as gods. Their power and knowledge was incomprehensible. The constant war dried up many rivers, lakes and oceans, turned mountains into active volcanoes and erased cities from existence. The conflict turned this world into a living hell. The battles were so deadly that it changed the geography of the planet almost to the level of being unrecognizable when the world settled post war. Perhaps it was necessary.
The mortals that lived in those times possessed knowledge far more advanced that what they could handle. Since the knowledge was simply passed down by their creators Prasthayi, these people lacked the wisdom to properly use it.
The communities that survived made an agreement to destroy all knowledge so as to have a peaceful future. Witnessing this horror first hand, one advanced peaceful civilization Drimavanshi temporarily migrated to the natural satellite of the planet i.e. the Drim moon. While they managed to retain all the ancient knowledge, they preserved it in an encoded language under their philosophical argument of Knowledge vs Wisdom.
The entire purpose of this war was to define the meaning of two words ‘good’ and ‘bad’. This distinction came to be known as ‘Dharma’, which means, ‘the right way to live’.
All the moral lessons learned from this war were complied in text that was practiced like religion. Different religions had different details but the basic gist dharma was same. Among them, the most popular religion of the planet widely practiced for many centuries was the one called Deviral.
